My Relationship with Writing

I’d like to say that I’m a decent writer. I wouldn’t say that it’s my number one passion or anything, but when I’m writing about a topic I seem to be interested in, I’m confident that those will definitely be my better pieces. A part of writing that I do struggle with, though, is coming up with the perfect (or at least good enough) words or phrases that I can use to communicate with the people reading my piece. I feel like I can’t put everything I want to say in the structure of a good sentence, and it’s crazy because when I am writing, my mind is flowing with ideas of what I want to say, but it’s actually having to express them in the format of a solid sentence that puts me in a tight spot. I think that when I can finally figure out what to write, it can be pretty detailed and I can help the reader imagine themselves in the story or whatever it is that I’m writing. I want to work on thinking quicker when it comes to writing instead of spending ten minutes or more trying to decide how I should word one singular sentence.
